Fliss was a poor, unloved girl. Her parents aruged for the rest of their life, and this made Fliss really upset. Last christmas the family was reunited and they were really happy. Her mother baked cookies and hung them on the christmas tree. If the cookie dropped then Fliss would get the snack and ate them. But when Fliss 2 little sister, Alexa and phoebe were born, her two parents kept argueing. She was really mad and hope it was like the perfect past. In her memory that christmas was the best time and luckiest day she ever spent with her family. Fliss's only refuge is her boyfriends Simon, who support her and tried help her to calm down. Every wednesday, the middle of the week Fliss would come to Simon's house. His mother wasnt impressed, she thought it was not a good way for fliss to get so close with her son. Simon always dragged Fliss to his room and they talked and share things. But Simon's mother thought something bad will happened. Things come to a head where Fliss father announces he's moving out. Fliss was so upset, all she needed was talking to Simon. It was the only way to cheer her up. Unfortunately, Simon backing off in all the sudden, just when she needed him more than ever. Breaking up is a romance book and i recommend this book can be read by any couples (boyfriends/girlfriends) because it kind of sad and all kind of arugement and solving problems relative to romance things.
