Danny's mother died when Danny was 4 months old. His father owned a filling station up the hill. He had to look after Danny and went to check on the filling station every night time. Before his son went to bed, he tucked Danny in and tell him the fantastic, mysterious story that Danny never heard of. In day life, Danny work with his dad to put switch back in the motor. The filling station that his father worked for was owned by a wealthy, unpleasant local man called Mr. Hazell. When Mr Hazell, threaten Danny's father about the fuel and electricity will ran out soon and it all because of Danny's father. So that night he went to the filling station after tucking in Danny. He said to danny he would be back as soon as everything was good in place. Danny waked up in the middle of the night but still havent seen his father came back. He got really worried, Danny decided to go and look for him.
this book should be read by primary students from year 4 to yr 8.
