Inspector Thannet Series - Puppet for a Corpse

Just when Inspector Thannet and his wife' life couldn't get any better, another case comes approaching him. Apparently, Doctor Pettifer - a talented and ambiguous doctor - has died. Before Thannet thinks that the doctor committed suicide, he starts stumbling across many mysteries: Pettifer has everything in his life any man would ever dream for: a pregnant wife, healthy wealth and who would ever arrange an expensive cruise ship trip before committing suicide? Yet, Inspector Thannet must again dig up enigmatic past of the doctor and the ... murderer behind all of this.
Like the past two books, it is a really suspenseful book. Almost every words build tension and suspense for the readers. Again, you could easily picture Kent with Simpson's impressive and detailed atmosphere and the city. There's also sub-plots which are also very interesting and sometimes may affect the case - for the worst or the better.
