This book was the most twisted and adventurous of the three books. Its about Tess being sent away to her cousins for the summer because her parents are going to vacation without her, she is happy to have her 15th birthday in the woods where she can try out forms and list what to be and what not to be. The decision is made easier when Kevin comes around to celebrate her birthday (he is turned human again in the last book). She thinks she can handle it but then she finds out things that surprise her a great deal. Including fairies... Everlasting switchers.
