This is one of the very best books I've ever read. I'm not kidding.
Anna Fitzgerald was a 13 year-old-girl who sued her parents for the rights to her own body. Her older sister Kate had leukemia, cancer of the blood. So when her parents found out years before that either of them or their son Jesse were match donors, one of their doctors offered a suggestion which was off the charts- a designed baby. This baby was designed to have the exact same blood match so that she could be a donor for her older sister. Anna went through countless surgeries and many other dangerous things that could have harmed her body. The minute she was born, she already gave something that would help Kate. Bone marrows, blood, and more blood was taken from her for Kate.
Finally, they asked Anna for a kidney. At this point they crossed a line. This was the whole reason for this trial. Everything in this book related to family, love, care and giving up.
If you do want to read this book, I don't want to spoil the ending. (BUT THIS BOOK IS GENIUS!!!!)
must read. :)
