Jacques Saunière, the curator of the Louvre Museum, is discovered murdered. Not only is he lifeless but someone has arranged his naked corpse so that he is posed in the form of one of Da Vinci's most famous paintings- the vitruvian man- along with a message and a pentacle drawn with his own blood! Robert Langdon, an American symbologist, and agent Sophie Neveu (who is also the curator's grandaughter) team up in attempt to solve the cryptic message, however, they have enemies tracking them and following their every move, including French police officer Fache who is fixated upon catching Langdon as he firmly believes that he is the culprit responsible for the crime. It is a race against time- Robert and Sophie must unearth a breath-taking secret regarding the Holy grail, Mary Magdalene and Jesus Christ but who did kill the curator anyway?
The plot of this book is kind of confusing at times so you have to pay attention. There are some unexpected twists and the codes in the book are quite ingenius. I would not reccomend this to any of you because either you'd be bored off your chair or you would think that it's too complicated and long.
