This book is written by Alyson Noel (with two dot thingies over the "e"). This book is about a 16 year old girl called Ever Bloom. When she was young a gruesome car accident claimed the lives of her family. Ever suvived the accident however now shes been cursed with the ability to see peoples auras, hear their thoughts and know someone's entire life story just from a single touch. She tells herself that she wasn't suppose to survive the accident - this is why shes been cursed. With these new powers of hers she is forced to avoid human contact at all costs and find ways to suppress her abilities as much as she can. Therefore she walks around with ipod at full blast in her ears - to avoid hearing other's thoughts -, fully clothed with baggy jeans that are too long for her and a baggy hoody - to avoid physical contact. She doesnt read or study for tests because when she touches the book all the words flow into her head and during an exam all she needs to do is touch the question and the answer flows into her. Personalyi dont know why her gift is so bad but she sees it as a curse... However everythingin her life chages when Damen August enters her life. Damen is beyound georgous, exotic and wealthy. No wealthy is un understatement. Within thsi book at some point when Ever is mad at him he goes and buys a laptop for each student at the school - a MacBook air no less. Hes the only one who can silence the noise, the random energy, and make her feel as though everythingis back to normal. As Ever is drawn within this mysterious world of secrets, she is left with more questions then answers. She has no idea what he is, or what she is, but all she knows is that she is falling deeply and helplessly in love with him. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK. ITS AWESOME. ITS ADDICTIVE. WHEN I WASNT READING IT I WOULD THINK ABOUT WAYS THAT A COULD SNEAK OFF AND READ IT.
