Girls Out Late-Jacqueline Wilson

Girls Out Late is set in London, England. It is a story about a young girl, Ellie, and her two best friends, Madga and Nadine, who are finding out how difficult it can be to be fifteen years old.
Ellie finally meets a boy that she really likes, and he is crazy about her. But she comes home late for curfew and then gets caught in a lie. That makes it hard for her to see the boy that she met. Then, she is faced with a tough decision, picking between a boy she really likes and her two best friends. At first, she picks the boy, boy, but after a silent treatment from Magda and Nadine, she realizes that no boy is more important than her girls.
Then the three girls, while they are supposed to be at a concert, find themselves in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by people they don’t know, doing bad things. But they make it home safely later that night. The next day, they all get caught and are in big trouble!
I really enjoyed this book. The book was very believable. It almost felt like I was there with Ellie, Magda, and Nadine, and all three girls’ characters were very likeable. They were all a little bit different in their own way, but still adorable. Then there are other interesting characters, like Nadine’s mom and Ellie’s little brother.
I think that this was a really great book, mostly for personal reasons. It reminds me so much of my friends and me.I’m sure any girl my age would feel the same way. Therefore, I would recommend this book to anyone from the ages of 13-16.
