Gandalf the wizard trying to persuade a group of dwarves and the hobbit to go with him on trip. But since the hobbit never went outside so he have a lot of imagination. Gandalf let the hobbit thinks about the mysterous trip. he have to reply to Gandalf the next day. When Gandalf left, there are several dwarves came and have tea and sleptover. Bilbo is one of the dwarf and he knows about the trip to the mystery caves where all the precious, ancient treasures are. All the short Dwarves and the hobbit sit around and listen to Bilbo explain how can they travel to the cave easily and the shortcut. For the whole night they looked at Bilbo curiously and listen to his directions. The next mornng, Blbo have to tell to gandalf again and while the hobbt have to prepare everything for their long trip to the treasure.
i recommend this book should be read by a yr 9 students because it is hard to understand and it's long.
