The Book " The Devouring" is a thriller and probably scare you if you read it alone in your room. The author "Simon Holt" use a phrase which that goes by " Your body is here, But not your soul." This is want made me want to read the book in the first place.As I said the book is a thriller and its about a girl called Reggie. She is a fan of horror stories. So one she discovers a book called the devouring and soon finds out things called Vours. Vours feed on fear and light and taking over it's host and later morphing it's host into a cold,cruel creature. Reggie tries to prank he younger brother by summoning The Vours. But soon she will have to fight to get back her brother's soul.
