Love, Stargirl

This book was written by Jerry Spinelli. It is about a girl called stargirl (a bit weird but it makes her all the more unique - if you read this book you will find that most names in here are very weird like theres this girl called Dootsie in this book and if thats not weird then i dont know what is) and she has recently moved away from her the place she has lived her whole life: Arizona. She's left behind her Friends. Her home. Her once (and future?) boyfriend Leo the most important thing in her life. But then in her strange new home she meets her wonderfully weird new Neighbours: Dootsie (haha funny name) who is the five year old curly headed "human bean"; Betty Lou, who hasnt stepped out of her house for nine years; Hot tempered completely insane Alvina (haha funny name again) with a single glitterry finger nail as the only sign that she is actualy female; and Perry Delloplane (hehe like perry the platipus) the blue eyed theif.

This whole book is a letter to her former boyfriend Leo - a letter that she writes ove the course of a year.

When i picked up this book at 4 pm at my friend albas house i didt put it down until 4 am on that same day. It was as if my eyes were glued to it. So id say that this is a brilliant book and people should defenetly read it. Although i think that this book is aime more towards girls then boys.
